Diedre Shaw, owner and principal designer, launched her design business in 1994 after studying interior design at UC Berkeley. Diedre also holds a degree in literature from UCLA. Before her career in interior design, she enjoyed an earlier profession in the fashion industry, modeling throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. A passionate lifelong student of ballet, Diedre was also awarded full membership to the Royal Academy of Dance, London.
The study and work in each of these creative disciplines - literature, fashion and dance - as well as the exposure to the astounding architecture and interiors in many countries along the way - honed in Diedre not only an appreciation for beauty, but a need to express and create it as well.
